Since tomorrow is Veterans Day, we thought we would discuss the current situation of Veteran Hospital Staffing.
In recent years, the U.S. has seen improvements in battlefield medical techniques. Many injured soldiers now are able to survive on the battlefield longer because of these advancements. Therefore, when they do come home their wounds tend to be more severe than in past wars. The influx of the severely wounded soldiers, as well as veterans of past wars, increased the use of the VA hospital systems and its resources. Many veterans rely on using VA benefits as they are unable to secure their own private insurance. For some facilities this means rising costs and decreasing resources.
There has been no simple solution to this dilemma; it has however, left the VAs to use outside resources to help with increase the veteran usage.
Contracting firms, such as Annashae Staffing, have been a part of helping to staff these VA facilities with doctors and other healthcare providers.
On this day our greatest appreciationg goes to all those who have served, we thank you.
